The Moroccan representative spent some days in the Islands holding meetings with associations and unions in order to explain Moroccan proposal to the Sahara which offers autonomy to the region. He believes that through this project he will put an end to 30 years of conflicts, and problems. Ould Errachid believes that the Canary Islands support is essential.

Khalihenna: Sahara will have a Moroccan autonomy
Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs said that Morocco is working to establish a Moroccan autonomy in the Sahara inspired by ohter experiences. In an interview published last Monday by L'Evenement Nigerian weekly , he added that referundum is not workable and not possible.
