Malian Independent: A Malian newspaper called the Bamako government to cancel its recognition of the delusional Sahrawi Republic, believing that "the disadvantages of this recognition, if continued, will be more than its positive aspects."

Al Raye al Am: The Sudanese newspaper “Al Raye al Am” expressed optimism that autonomy plan for the southern provinces proposed by Morocco would be accepted by parties to the conflict.

Inter "Côte d'ivoire": Ivorian newspaper "L’Inter" said on Wednesday that broadened autonomy plan proposed by Morocco to find a political solution to the Sahara issue was supported by a significant number of Member States in the United Nations.

Nouakchott Info: Nouakchott Info newspaper said on Friday that "participatory and inclusive" dimension which was present in the various stages relating to the preparation of the Moroccan autonomy proposal for the southern provinces is an unprecedented step, and gives greater credibility to the project. 

Ilaf: An official source said that the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was briefed today in Marrakesh (south) on the project which will be submitted by Morocco to the United Nations to settle the dispute over Western Sahara. The Emir of Kuwait, who is paying a two day official visit to Morocco, met the chairman of the Royal Advisory of Saharan Affairs, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, which includes notables Saharans loyal to Morocco.
