Peru supports Morocco’s position concerning the Sahara

Peru understands and supports the Moroccan position, which tends to search for a political solution to the Sahara conflict, this statement was made by Mr Luis Gonzales Posada, the speaker of the Peruvian parliament, who is currently visiting Morocco.

Statement of the President of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs

In accordance with instructions by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God be with him, and in keeping with the provisions of the Dahir on the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), the Council’s President hereby advises that the CORCAS second regular session for 2007 will be held on 7-8 Dhul Hijja 1428H (17-18 December 2007) in the city of Smara on the theme: “Autonomy as a final solution to achieve reconciliation and dignified return to the homeland”

By order of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God protect him, and upon the provisions of the Dahir on the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, the Council’s Chairman announces that the second regular session of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs for 2007, will be held on Dul hijja 7-8, 1428, corresponding to December 17-18, 2007, in the city of Smara, to study the following issue:
