Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 in Rabat at the Council headquarters, talks with the Dutch Ambassador in charge of Human Rights Piet De Klerk. De Klerk described in a statement, after this meeting, the talks with the President of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs as "constructive and important", pointing out that views were exchanged on the latest developments in the Sahara.

Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received on November 8, 2006 the head of the Parliamentary Moroccan-Greek Friendship Group, Mr. Greek Onasitacejus Karamallos where talks focused on efforts to resolve the problem of the Sahara and on autonomy proposal, which is a Moroccan serious effort to find a way out to the Sahara issue and a democratic consensus without winner and no loser.

Ambassador of Romania in Morocco, Mr. Vasil Bopovici said on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in Rabat, that autonomy plan in the southern provinces of the Kingdom of Morocco is a "hope for peace in the region", that would make progress in the Sahara issue.
