The Egyptian daily "Al Ahram" stressed Sunday the importance of achieving a "solution" for the settlement of the Sahara issue, an outcome that "reflects the sense of political realism and facts on the ground ".

 Morocco's proposal to grant substantial autonomy to its southern provinces, the Sahara is "very realistic and objective," which can bring stability to the region, Bulgarian deputy minister of foreign affairs, Feim Tchaouchev said on Wednesday.

The Special Committee in charge of the Moroccan Sahara in Europe (CSCSME) was received Monday at the Cuban Embassy in Paris, for talks on the plight of children forcibly deported to Cuba by Polisario separatists.

The dissident Polisario movement "Khat Achahid" called for the formation of a new delegation, which able to negotiate the autonomy proposal presented by Morocco, calling on Algeria to "stop interfering" in the Affairs of the Saharans. 

Jordan has voiced support to Morocco's territorial integrity and to the north African country's proposal to grant substantial autonomy to its Southern Provinces, known as the Sahara, in a bid to solve the 32-year old dispute over this territory.
