Intense participation of Corcas in the work of the 24th session of HRC in Geneva

Representatives of the Royal advisory  council for Saharan   affairs  Saadani Maouelainine  and Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat , who are taking part among the Moroccan delegation  in the 24th session of the UN  Human rights  council in Geneva, have started an intense  work , particularly  by means of meetings with other delegations and the participation in the round tables ,and debates held in the margins of  the session .

The Royal advisory council for Saharan affairs (CORCAS) takes part in Geneva among the Moroccan delegation in the 24th session of the UN human rights council, which takes place from the 9th to the 27th September 2013, in the palace of nations in Geneva.

Saharawi delegation draws attention of US people and policymakers to human rights violations in Tindouf camps

A delegation from the Sahara region, including representatives from the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), visiting Washington, informed US public opinion, decision-makers and influencers of opinion about blatant violations of Human Rights in Tindouf camps and made an impassioned appeal to end the suffering of people detained by Polisario for decades.

Statement by Corcas Vice chairman before the Committee of 24

"Resolution 2099 explicitly recognizes and for the 1st time that the solution to the Sahara conflict will contribute to stability and security in the Sahel and cooperation of the Maghreb Union"

Corcas Vice Chairman Khadad Moussaoui said that the continuation of the Sahara conflict for four decades, is the result "of Algeria’s hostile position" regarding the issue of the Kingdom’s territorial integrity saying that Morocco recovered the Spanish Sahara region in accordance with the principles and objectives of the Charter of the United Nations, as part of a gradual process of decolonization between 1956 and 1976.
