 The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs continues today, Wednesday, April 5, 2006 in Rabat its works in closed session. The council’s Chairman, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, said in a statement before resumption of works that the council will study the draft rules of procedure prepared by the Technical Committee which was formed yesterday, Tuesday, for this purpose.

Works of the first meeting of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs opened on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Rabat, after the nomination by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of its new members during his historic visit to the southern regions. At the agenda of this meeting, setting up rules of procedure to submitted to the attention of His Majesty the King, and the election of nine vice-presidents to form the Council's office.
