In order to bring an effective assistance to populations in the tindouf camps HCR’s mandate, and its executive comity resolutions should be put into practice ,  The request was made by Mr. Lotfi Bouchaara, member of the permanent mission of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations, before the third committee of the General Assembly, stressing that effective assistance to the population held in those camps hinges on implementing the mandate of the HCR and the resolutions of its executive commission.

Violation of human rights in Tindouf camps denounced at the British parliament

Representatives of  British NGO’s have denounced , Wednesday massive violations of human rights committed  in Tindouf camps, in Algeria, calling the international community to intervene in order to put an end to the  state of siege imposed on the confined illegally population in these camps.

The kingdom of Morocco is celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the green march organized by late king Hassan II, it was a strategic mass demonstration to recover the Western Sahara which is an integral part of Morocco, and linked to it by a legal and historical relations .On November 6, 1975, around 350,000 Moroccan civilians converged on the city of Tarfaya in southern Morocco, and waited for a signal from the late king Hassan II to cross into Western Sahara.

RESOLUTION 1783 confirms the Moroccan move to reach a lasting political settlement

The Security Council adopted at its 5773rd meeting, on 31 October 2007 resolution (1783) about the future of direct negotiations concerning the Moroccan Sahara .there is no doubt that the latest resolution is simply a pure confirmation to the willingness of the security council of the united nations to assist the parties concerned to achieve a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution .
