King Mohammed VI renewed on Thursday Morocco's full resolve to engage in serious negotiations on autonomy as a final solution to the Sahara dispute, underlining that this initiative remains on the table.

The flame, lit 33 years ago with the launch of the Green March and which led to a mobilization and unprecedented national unity of all forces of the Nation, continues to illuminate the path of Morocco on the way of the preservation of its territorial integrity and strengthen the collective mobilization for the consolidation of sovereignty, rooted in history and reaffirmed by land and citizens. 

The Foreign Minister said that Morocco has no reservation on the appointment of the new personal representative of UN Secretary-General in the of the Sahara, provided that "negotiations do not restart from zero."

All countries know today that the Sahara is a Moroccan-Algerian conflict for which they called for a consensual solution," said Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi.
