Russia praises Morocco's search for 'mutually acceptable' solutions to Sahara issue, Lavrov

 Referring to Morocco's plan to grant substantial autonomy to its Southern Provinces, the Sahara, and solve its 30-year old dispute with the Algeria-backed Polisario separatists over these territories, Russian Foreign Affairs Minister, Serguei Lavrov praised, here on Wednesday, "Morocco's disposal to seek mutually acceptable ways to get out of the situation of conflict."

Morocco seeks Britain's 'contribution' to Sahara autonomy proposal

A delegation of senior Moroccan officials met, here Wednesday, with members of the British Cabinet, part of a tour to some Western capitals to drum up support for the Kingdom's plan to grant substantial autonomy to its Southern provinces -the Sahara- and therefore put an end to the three-decade old Sahara dispute over the former Spanish colony.
