Southern provinces lead participation rate

Voters in the Southern Provinces have once again scored record by their massive participation in the constitutional referendum held last Friday, which put these provinces at the first place, compared to the participation rate.

Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, met on Friday at the Council’s headquarters a delegation from the Colombian parliament on a working visit to Morocco June 19-25.

The UN Secretary General's Personal Envoy Christopher Ross announced, on Tuesday, at the end of the 7th round of the closed-door talks that the 8th round of UN-sponsored informal talks on the Sahara will take place in the second half of July 2011 in Manhasset (suburban New York).
