Foreign Minister Saad Dine El Otmani held, on Tuesday in Rabat, a meeting with leaders of political parties on the latest developments of the Moroccan Sahara issue.

The United Nations Independent Expert and Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights, Ms. Farida Shaheed, praised the Corcas experience in the promotion of cultural rights, in her report, Friday, June 22, 2012, before the 20th session of the Human rights Council in Geneva.

Members of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs participate in Geneva within the Moroccan delegation in the 20th session of the UN Human Rights Council, which started on Monday 18 and continues until the sixth of next month.

 The chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, criticized "lack of progress" in the process of UN negotiations to settle the Sahara issue and expressed "concerns" over this case.
