The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received a high-ranking delegation from the Tanzanian National Assembly, led by Vice-President Daniel Baran Sillo, today, Thursday, December 18, at the Council's headquarters in Rabat.

Burkina Faso reiterated on Wednesday its firm and consistent support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region, and welcomed the adoption by the United Nations Security Council of historic Resolution 2797, which recognizes the Autonomy Plan.

Under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Morocco has adopted a firm and fair stance on the Sahara issue, Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch said in an interview published Monday by the Spanish daily La Razón.

His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mustafa Mansouri, praised the clear positions in support of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco, as expressed in the final communiqué of the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, held on Wednesday in Manama.

As part of the international momentum created under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, in support of Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara and the Autonomy Plan, the Netherlands affirmed that “genuine autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty is the most feasible solution to definitely put an end to the regional dispute.”
