Djibouti praised, before the members of the Committee of 24 of the United Nations, the growing international support for the autonomy initiative proposed by Morocco for the final settlement of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs said “that there is no official representation of the polisario front either at the United Nations Office in Geneva or to the Federal Council (Swiss Government),” inflicting yet another slap in the face for the separatists.

Senegal reaffirmed, during the C24 regional seminar held recently in Caracas, its "constant support" for the Moroccan Autonomy initiative, considering it "the best compromise solution" to the regional dispute over the Sahara.

Saint Kitts and Nevis called, during the C24 Caribbean Seminar held in Caracas (May 14-16), for a political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara under the Kingdom's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Côte d'Ivoire reiterated, during the C24 Caribbean Seminar held in Caracas (May 14-16), its "full support" for the Autonomy initiative presented by Morocco in order to put an end to the regional dispute over the Sahara.
