A delegation of senior Moroccan officials met, here Wednesday, with members of the British Cabinet, part of a tour to some Western capitals to drum up support for the Kingdom's plan to grant substantial autonomy to its Southern provinces -the Sahara- and therefore put an end to the three-decade old Sahara dispute over the former Spanish colony.

Some 99 Deputies of the House of Commons (Lower house at the British Parliament) expressed their support to the Moroccan Initiative for the negotiation of an autonomy statute in the Sahara.

The "Union des Associations du Sahara en Europe" (UASE) called, Wednesday, on the European Commission to look into the embezzlement by Ploisario of the humanitarian aids destined to the populations held in the Polisario-controlled camps of Tindouf (Southwest of Algeria).
