Statement by the Algerian Minister shows "his country’s full involvement in Moroccan Sahara issue"

The French scholar Charles Saint-Prot, Director of the Paris based Observatory of Geopolitical Studies (OEG), denounced the attitude of Algeria "opposed to the Maghreb cooperation", asking "extravagant conditions" to reopen its border with Morocco, especially the Sahara issue.

A Moroccan delegation participates July 2-3, in Geneva, in the 4th assessment meeting of confidence-building measures (CBM). The meeting, held under the auspices of the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), hosts delegations from Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania and Polisario, said Monday a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
