UNSC urges direct talks between parties

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) members highlighted, on Friday, the importance of the "Moroccan initiative for negotiating an autonomy statute for the Sahara region," calling for direct talks on the Sahara issue among the parties concerned, to get out of the current stalemate.

Autonomy only way out  to find a definitive solution to Sahara issue 

 Participants in the symposium - discussion, organized in Paris on Saturday evening, by (the Morocco development Association) on the theme "Moroccan Sahara: horizon and future of self-governance" said that autonomy proposal for the southern provinces is the only solution of the current crisis.
