Renew MINURSO Mandate Reaffirm Support to Round-Table Process

The UN Security Council will hold during the month of October three meetings to discuss the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, with the aim of renewing the mandate of MINURSO and reaffirming support for the efforts of the UN Secretary-General and his Personal Envoy to revive the political process by bringing Algeria, the main party to the regional dispute, to resume the round-table process in accordance with the relevant resolutions, including Resolution 2602.
