A twinning agreement between Laayoune and the city of Hollywood in the state of Florida (United States) was signed Wednesday in Laayoune, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations of cooperation in the economic, cultural, educational and tourist fields.

The Republic of Guinea reiterated, Tuesday in Rabat, its firm and constant support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and its support for the autonomy plan initiative, presented by the Kingdom, which is the only credible and realistic solution to resolve this dispute.

The United Kingdom expressed its appreciation for Morocco's serious efforts to advance the process towards a resolution of the Sahara issue.

Members of a delegation of British Conservative MPs from the House of Lords, on a working visit to Morocco, said, Thursday in Laayoune, that it is "impressed" by the level of development in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region and the projects launched in all areas.
