Papua New Guinea has reaffirmed, before the members of the UN Committee of 24 (C-24) in Bali, its support for the autonomy initiative in the Moroccan Sahara which constitutes the solid basis for a lasting solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Saudi Arabia reaffirmed, in New York, its support for the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco to definitively resolve the regional dispute over the Sahara within the framework of the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Sierra Leone reiterated, before the United Nations Committee of 24 (C-24), its support for Morocco's autonomy plan in the Sahara, stressing that this initiative is a compromise solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The annual session of the UN 24 Committee witnessed vivid argument between the Moroccan ambassador, Omar Hilale, and the new Algerian permanent representative, Amar Bendjama.

The Republic of Guinea expressed before the C24 committee its support for Morocco's autonomy initiative, a compromise solution for the regional dispute over the Sahara.
