Morocco is determined to go as far as possible in the negotiation process to put an end to the 32-year old dispute over the Sahara, Communication Minister and government spokesman, Khalid Naciri said on Thursday.

Morocco proved good will during the recent negotiations on the Sahara dispute with Algerian-backed separatist movement "Polisario" in Manhasset (outskirts of New York), unlike the "negative, fixed, and sterile attitude of the other party," minister of Communication and Government spokesperson, Khalid Naciri, said on Thursday.

Algeria and Polisario are called to show good faith and seriousness required for the success of the third round of negotiations on the Sahara, said the Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid.

The Secretary general of the united nations , Ban Ki-moon, called on Monday from new york the parties participating in the UN –brokered on the Sahara issue to “ make full use of this week’s round of talks” held in Manhasset( New york outskirts) to put an end to 32- year-old conflict.

Morocco reiterates its readiness to move forward in the implementation of UN resolutions

The Moroccan delegation attending the third round of the negotiation process on the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, held a working meeting Sunday night in New York with other members accompanying the delegation, during which it reaffirmed Morocco's desire to move forward in the implementation of UN resolutions aimed at achieving a political final solution to this dispute.
