Moroccan delegation informs UN Secretary General about Morocco's autonomy plan to Sahara

A large Moroccan delegation met Wednesday with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon to inform him about Morocco's proposal to grant substantial autonomy, under its sovereignty, to its Southern Provinces -the Sahara- and settle a 30-year-old dispute over the territory with the Algeria-backed Polisario separatists.
