Qatar on Tuesday reiterated its support to Morocco's autonomy plan, deeming it a serious, realistic and credible initiative to reach a solution to the Sahara issue.

Morocco's permanent representative to the UN, ambassador Omar Hilale denounced on Thursday the hostile campaign of the United Nations Secretariat.

Several former US ambassadors to Rabat insisted in a letter to the Secretary of State, John Kerry, on the need for an "unequivocal support" by US with "our oldest ally" Morocco, following excesses of by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, in violation of UN neutrality.

Inadmissible statements and acts by the UN Secretary General during his recent regional tour cannot be reduced to a simple 'misunderstanding’.
