The Custodian of the Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reiterated the constant position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Moroccan Sahara as part of the territorial sovereignty and national unity of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Mr Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, met Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Council with Mr. Fredrik Floren, Ambassador and Special Envoy of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, met on Monday at the Council a Socialist International delegation headed by Juan Antonio Yanez, former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Spain and member the Spanish Socialist Workers Party.

The new Resolution on Moroccan Sahara issue, adopted unanimously Tuesday by the UN Security Council, supports Morocco's achievements in the UN facilitation process and reaffirms the regional dimension of the dispute, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MAEC).

Ban Ki-moon welcomed "positive steps" by Morocco for the protection of human rights and called for the first time in recommendations to conduct a census of the populations in Tindouf camps in Algeria.
