The Moroccan-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), Moroccan side, welcomes the vote, on Thursday at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, against a hostile amendment to Morocco, stressing that the rejection  reflects MEP's awareness of the maneuvers by the enemies of our territorial integrity.

The "important decision" taken Sunday by the Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara enshrines the primacy of the UN process in the management of the Moroccan Sahara issue and recalls that there is no parallel process, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, said Monday in Nouakchott.
