The Council of the European Union (EU) adopted, Monday, the negotiating mandate confirming the continuation of the partnership between Morocco and the EU in the fisheries sector, said a European source.

Leaders of political parties, MPs, elected officials, Sheikhs, dignitaries and Sahrawi leader activists, who gathered on Monday in Laayoune as part of a national mobilisation meeting, condemned the manoeuvers led by the enemies of Morocco’s territorial integrity, particularly the recent acts of hostility by Polisario.

Algeria, whose responsibility is clear and confirmed at all levels in the Moroccan Sahara dispute, must be involved in good faith in the political process and meet its responsibilities in this dispute, the Moroccan delegation said to participates in the 18th Ministerial Conference of the Non Aligned Movement held in Baku April 3 through 6.

Head of government Saad Eddine El Othmani reaffirmed, Thursday, Morocco's total and categorical rejection of all attempts by separatists to change the status quo in the buffer zone, stressing that the Kingdom will stand firm against these attempts.

Foreign minister Nasser Bourita handed, Wednesday at the UN headquarters in New York, a written message by HM King Mohammed VI to UNSG Antonio Guterres.
