Kuwait reaffirmed, on Tuesday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative as a "constructive alternative" to reach a mutually acceptable solution to the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The Republic of Yemen hailed, before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, the efforts by the Kingdom of Morocco to reach a just and lasting political solution to the Sahara issue.

The Central African Republic welcomed, on Friday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, Morocco's efforts for the development of the Sahara region, in particular the socio-economic and infrastructure projects that "proceed from the Moroccan autonomy initiative."

The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council on Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met on Thursday, October 18, 2018, with a large parliamentary delegation from Central America, led by Tony Raful Tejada, speaker of this regional parliamentary institution (Parlacen), which brings together six countries in the region.

Guatemala stressed on Monday, October 9, before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, that the resolution on the Moroccan Sahara remains necessary for stability, security, peace and integration of the Maghreb region.
