The Republic of Zambia on Tuesday opened a consulate general in Laayoune, the 8th diplomatic representation inaugurated in this city of the Moroccan Sahara in less than a year.

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea opened on Friday a consulate general in Dakhla. The inauguration ceremony of this consulate was co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and his Equatorial Guinean counterpart Simeón Oyono Esono Angue.

Malawi supports a solution within the framework of the Moroccan sovereignty to the dispute over the Sahara, affirmed, Saturday in Rabat, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Malawi, Eisenhower Nduwa Mkaka.

The Republic of Burkina Faso opened a consulate general in Dakhla on Friday.The inauguration ceremony of this consulate was co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita and his Burkina Faso's counterpart Alpha Barry.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic (CAR), Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, reiterated, Thursday in Rabat, her country's support for the Moroccanity of the Sahara.
