The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia, Mulambo Haimbe, reaffirmed, on Friday in Laâyoune, his country's support for Morocco's territorial integrity and the Kingdom's sovereignty over all its territory, including the Moroccan Sahara region.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita held talks, in Rabat on Thursday, with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom.

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution reaffirming its support for the political process conducted under the exclusive auspices of the UN Security Council for the settlement of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of the Republic of Ecuador, Gabriela Sommerfeld, reiterated, on Monday, her country’s decision to suspend its recognition of the so-called "sadr" and emphasized the importance of the Autonomy Initiative for the Sahara region, proposed by the Kingdom of Morocco in 2007.

The Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) reiterated, on Sunday, its constant positions and resolutions in support of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara and in ensuring the security and stability of the Kingdom of Morocco, and preserving its territorial integrity.
