The Fourth Committee of the UN General Assembly adopted, Friday, a resolution reiterating its support to the political process conducted under the exclusive auspices of the United Nations for the settlement of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Algeria's devolution of national competences to a separatist armed group is an "unprecedented" situation under international law, said Morocco's Ambassador and Permanent Representative in Geneva Omar Zniber on Wednesday.
