The European Union is called to join the dynamics underway in the Moroccan Sahara, said Patrick Saerens, lawyer and professor of international law in an article published Monday in the daily "La Libre Belgique".

The historic breakthrough and major diplomatic triumph that Morocco achieved in 2020, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, on the path to the consecration of the Kingdom's territorial integrity and its legitimate sovereignty over its Sahara, were consolidated and strengthened in 2021.

Italian media have highlighted the "important" diplomatic successes achieved by Morocco in the Sahara issue, while pointing to the blatant involvement of Algeria.

The League of Arab States has sent a Note to all bodies and organizations under its banner, recommending the adoption of a unified map in all events they organize, attaching a map of Arab countries including the complete map of Morocco.
