The President of the Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Khallihenna Ould Errachid, had a discussion, Tuesday in Rabat, with the Chairman of the Central American Parliament (Parlacen), Mr. Julio Gonzalez Gamarra.



This discussion has taken place in the presence of Mr. Maouelainin Ben Khallihenna Maouelainin, the CORCAS Secretary General, and Mr. Fernando Luna (Guatemala), member of the Parlacen.

Mr. Gamarra, who carries out an official visit to Morocco, since Monday, with a parliamentary delegation of the Central America countries, had previously a discussion with the first Vice-President of the Chamber of Representatives, Mr. Noureddine Mediane and with the first Vice-President of the Chamber of Counsellors, M. Mohamed Fadili.

The Parlacen, headquartered in Guatemala City, comprises the parliaments of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic, in addition to Mexico as an observer member.

Statement:

For me, this problem is definitely an internal problem, and it appears to me that for unity, the most appropriate solution is autonomy. With regard to such conflicts, only dialogue remains the solution.
