Columbia favorably welcomes Morocco's autonomy plan for Sahara, Minister

Columbia favorably welcomes the Moroccan project to grant substantial autonomy to its Southern Provinces (the Sahara), within the framework of its sovereignty, in order to reach a final solution to the Sahara dispute opposing Morocco to the Algeria-backed Polisario separatists, Columbian Deputy Foreign Minister, Camilo Reyes, told the ress on Tuesday.

Conciliation attitude recommended to reach strategic agreement over Sahara issue, former diplomat

Former Mexican diplomat and President of the Latin-American Center for Globalization, Porfirio Munoz Ledo recommended to adopt a conciliation approach over the Sahara dispute to reach a lasting and "strategic agreement," stressing that Morocco and Algeria are the "key countries" in the conflict.
