In a statement, adopted at the end of this meeting, under the emblem "Moroccan youth at the NIHD service: youth committed to a united nation", participants called for the mobilization of all means to promote and encourage the active participation of youth in society development process and decision-making.

They stressed the importance of promoting cooperation between associations and youth organizations to promote the integration of youth in various institutions of society.

Participants welcomed the achievements carried out within the framework of the NIHD implementation of projects in different sectors.

Initiated within the framework of the commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of the presentation of the Manifesto of Independence, the national youth meeting was organized at the initiative of the League of Regional Associations of Morocco, Moroccan Youth Forum for the 3rd millennium, Réseau Maillage, the Union of Moroccan youth leaders and the NIHD steering committee.

The closing ceremony of this event, which opened Wednesday in Laayoune, was marked by an artistic evening organised in the participants’ honour.

Nearly 400 young Moroccans aged between 18 and 35 years, representing all regions of the Kingdom, and a delegation of young African and Arab countries, took part in this meeting.
