Speaking after an interview with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. Taib Fassi Fihri, the MEP,  stated that "with globalization, the future is in the union, not independence".

"The European miracle came from the fact that we accepted that we are mutually dependent," he assured, noting that "independence is no longer possible today, it is an outdated concept with no meaning today. "

In addition, Mr. Morillon said that Morocco is a “appreciated model" by the European Union due to reforms in several areas.
