Thirty-six people belonging to five families from Laâyoune flew to the Tindouf camps in the morning, while thirty-five others members of seven families traveled from the camps to Laâyoune, in the 27th visit exchange since the start of 2008, a press release of the Moroccan Office of Coordination with the UN mission in the Sahara (MINURSO) said.
Poor weather conditions in Tindouf have compelled the HCR to postpone the visit exchange until Sunday, instead of Friday as initially planned, the source added.
Since their launch on March 5, 2004, the Sahrawi family visits exchange benefited a total of 6,566 people, 3,411 of whom live in the Tindouf Camps.
