"The initiative proposed by Morocco is important. We believe it is a good way to bring further peace and security in the region," Mammadyarov told the press Thursday in New York, after a meeting with his peer, Taib Fassi Fihri.

    He added that "concerning the Sahara issue, the stances of Azerbaijan and Morocco are very similar."

    Touching on bilateral relations, Azerbaijan's minister welcomed the quality of ties between both countries and the level of cooperation and coordination between Rabat and Baku at international forums.
