The representative of Bahrain affirmed, before members of the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, that “the Kingdom of Bahrain affirms its firm and solidarity position with the Kingdom of Morocco in preserving its security and territorial integrity.”
The diplomat highlighted that the country renews its support for the remarkable efforts made by Morocco to find a political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue, on the basis of the Moroccan autonomy initiative within the framework of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco and its national and territorial integrity.
The representative also appreciated the efforts of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to reach a political, realistic, practical and lasting solution, on the basis of consensus and within the framework of Morocco’s national sovereignty.
