"Senegal, we will never repeat it enough, backs without reserve the Moroccan initiative for a substantial autonomy in the kingdom's Southern Provinces," Ndiaye affirmed at the opening of the 2nd Senegalese cultural week in Morocco, held on June 26-28.
"This was our stand before the Manhasset talks, and it remained so during and after the talks," he underlined.
"Senegal continues to provide its constant and active support to Morocco with a view to reaching a political solution to the Sahara issue, a solution that would preserve the territorial integrity and the sovereignty of the kingdom," he said.
The two countries, which share the same views and positions on a number of issues, he affirmed, hold regular consultations and agreements and support each other.
