The special committee in charge of Moroccan Sahara in Europe( SCCMSE) invited the Spanish judge Baltasar Garzon, who just announced proceedings against Moroccan personalities to “rather mediate” over human rights violations in the Tindouf camps, in Algeria .

The Spanish judge should “rather mediate” upon the fate of thousands of children of Tindouf camps deported to Cuba, and think of the suffering of parents  “torn by the cruel separation of their children» asserts the SCCMSE in a statement, of which a copy was sent to the MAP.

The committee considers that “ it would be desirable if the Spanish justice helps to put an end” to the suffering of these children and  “takes a firm decision  towards these inhuman acts”

The attitude of the Spanish judge would “muddle” efforts made by the kingdom of Morocco in order to achieve a solution to the Moroccan Sahara conflict, which takes a long time, specifies the same source.

“Only autonomy, under Moroccan sovereignty constitutes an honourable way out to this artificial conflict” adds the same source

The SCCMSE denounced the visit of the Spanish king to the occupied enclaves of Sebta and Melilla and added to be “shocked by this provocative attitude”
