Sheikhs and notables of the Sahrawi tribes in the region of Laayoune-Boujdour-Sakia El Hamra welcomed the content of the speech addressed to the nation Tuesday by King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the Throne Day.


The sheikhs and notables of the Sahrawi tribes in the region Laayoune-Boujdour-Sakia El Hamra greet the contents of the royal speech of the Throne Day.

In statements to the MAP after the speech, they reiterated their unwavering commitment to the glorious Alawite Throne and links to Beia, highlighting the achievements and major projects launched by HM king in the southern provinces for social and economic development in infrastructure which translate the Royal High interest in this part of the Kingdom.

They added that the National Initiative for Human Development and the establishment of the Agency for the promotion and economic and social development of the southern provinces and the new development model in these provinces reflect the interest granted by the Sovereign to consolidate the development of these provinces and strengthen the performance of different economic, social and cultural sectors.

The sheikhs and notables of the Sahrawi tribes also renewed their total mobilization behind HM King to defend the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, their commitment to the initiative of autonomy as well as their involvement in the project's success advanced regionalization .

Through various projects launched since the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne, the Laayoune-Boujdour-Sakia El Hamra region, in addition to major projects, has one of the lowest national poverty rate, according to Data from the High Planning Commission (HCP).
