The Leadership Council for Human Rights (LCHR), one of the important human rights NGOs in the United States, drew on Tuesday, the attention of the United State Congress to "destabilizing intentions" of Polisario in Africa North, which show "bad faith" and "cynicism" of the separatists.

LCHR President and founder of Caucus on Human Rights in US Congress, Kathryn Porter Cameron, cites as evidence "a confidential document of the so-called SADR, which reveals that the leader of separatists, Mohamed Abdelaziz, personal finances pro-Polisario the elements in Morocco to trigger intifadas in the southern provinces of the Kingdom".

These leaks demonstrate bad faith of Polisario leaders, who hold people hostage for over three decades, denying them their basic rights, without hope of a better future," Ms. Porter Cameron said in a statement.

She also stressed that "the Moroccan autonomy plan in the Sahara, under Moroccan sovereignty, is more than ever the only compromise solution able to be the cornerstone of a strong regional partnership." Polisario, she notes, "takes advantage of a situation of stalemate and status quo", considering that it is time, marked by the Arab Spring "to stimulate positive change and build a strong economic bloc in North Africa".

It is time for the United State Congress "to lay bare the lies and manipulations of Polisario and its propaganda, in order to get to the truth," insisted Ms. Porter Cameron.
