"I hope that a compromise is reached in order to reach a final settlement to this issue, acceptable to all parties," he said in an interview Sunday with Tunisian newspaper "Assabah" in response to a question about the future of UMA after the Revolution and the collapse of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

 "The Maghreb Union is now being tested with regard to the Sahara issue," Acting Tunisian President said.
