The autonomy initiative was “qualified serious and credible by the UNSC through six resolutions” said MR taib fassi Fihri before member states during a general debate of the 66th session of the UN general assembly;
 
This initiative “brave and realistic respects the international legality, within the framework of the national unity, and the kingdom territorial sovereignty, far away from unilateral interpretation which helps to maintain the status quos and favors the inaction” said the minister
 
The UNSC Resolution 1979( 2011) came to confirm the basic parameters of the negotiations process , calling all parties to take part of the substantial and serious negotiations, and give proof of realism and spirit of compromise to reach a  compromise solution, while exhorting the neighbor countries to fully engage in the negotiations process , he underlined

It is high time he said « for each party to assume its responsibility, particularly in the light of events taken place in the area, in order to achieve seriously a political and durable solution to this regional dispute” he asserted that “it is convenient to answer to the urgent aspirations of our sequestered brothers in the tindouf camps, In Algeria, who are deprived of their elementary rights and any future perspectives”
 
The minister expressed his conviction that reforms “taken places in the Maghreb area have given a new impulsion to the maghriban integration, in conformity with the aspirations of the five peoples of the region”.

In this context Morocco which “dynamites again its bilateral relations with Algeria through ministers visits” whish that these events will open the way to a complete normalization in the two countries, included the re opening of the borders, in conformity with the principle of the good neighboring
 
From the UN floor  , he asserted “the necessity to implement a efficient maghreban integration within the framework of the AMU as an open space, democratic and complementary, at the service of the interest of the five maghreban countries, “
 
An Arab Maghreban which will work towards an euro-Mediterranean cooperation , particularly within the framework of the union and a active Arab Maghreb in favor of development and stability of the Sahel region and which will face terrorism and its connections with organized criminality, he concluded.
