Speaking following a meeting with Minister of State to the President of Guinea-Bissau in charge of African and Middle-Eastern affairs and cooperation, Umar Embalo, Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri said that the Bissau-Guinean official reaffirmed his country's full support for the Kingdom's territorial integrity.
Fassi Fihri added that the meeting was an occasion to discuss means and ways to further strenghten ties between the two brotherly countries, voicing Morocco's full solidarity with Guinea-Bissau after the crises and difficulties it endured in the past few years.
The Kingdom's solidarity with Guinea-Bissau is part of South-South cooperation and historical relations uniting the two countries, he said.
Bonds beween Morocco and Guinea-Bissau are based on mutual understanding and solidarity, he went on, saying that this solidarity takes concrete substance through an action plan for the two years to come.
