The Sahrawis want to recover their right stolen by the polisario which does not represent them, Mustapha Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud, chief inspector of the polisario's police, said.

"The Sahrawis want to recover their right stolen by an entity which does not represent us and whose members are of Moroccan and Mauritanian descents," Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud told Spanish press agency EFE from the Mauritanian city of Zoueirat.

"I am a Sahrawi citizen and I believe that autonomy is the solution that meets the interests of the Sahrawi populations," he said, affirming that he has decided to challenge the polisario's decision banning his return to the camps Tindouf.

"The polisario’s envoys informed me in Zoueirat that if I do not give up my ideas, my return to Tindouf will be banned," he said, adding that, despite the threats, he will go to Tindouf to inform the Sahrawi population about the autonomy proposal put on the table by Morocco.

Ould Sidi Mouloud was kidnapped with his family members in 1979 and taken by force to the Tindouf camps (southwestern Algeria).
