Leaders of political parties and Sahrawi tribes hailed, on Saturday, the content of the speech delivered by HM King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the revolution of the King and the people.



     Speaking to the Moroccan TV channel, Al Oula, they reiterated unwavering commitment to defend Morocco’s territorial integrity and carry out the advanced regionalization project.

    In this respect, Secretary General of the Independence Party (PI), Abbas El Fassi, said HM the King highlighted in the speech the advanced
regionalisation project underlining the consensus of the Moroccan people about this issue.

    Echoing him, Secretary General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah said the royal address is a road map for the elaboration of the advanced regionalization project.

    The royal speech also urges citizens to be involved in this project through organizing debates with the aim of raising awareness and keeping pace with the deep changes that will take place, he added.

    In the same vein, President of the National Rally of Independents (RNI), Salaheddine Mezouar said that the advanced regioalization is a key project for the upcoming decade that requires political parties to meet the challenges of supervision, follow-up and the renewal of their leaders.

   Secretary General of the Popular Movement, Mohand Laenser, said the speech tackled the autonomy initiative for the southern provinces and made it clear that Citizenship rights cannot be practised except within the framework of full respect for and commitment to the nation’s unity and sovereignty.

    For their parts, leaders of Sahrawi tribes expressed their full support to the autonomy initiative and reiterating their commitment to defend the national sovereignty.
