all Moroccans support the king’s initiative aiming at granting the inhabitants of the southern provinces of the kingdom an autonomy statute within the framework of a substantial regionalization” underlined Mr.  Othmani who is equally a researcher and writer in the field of  Amazighite, during a meeting about the  Sahara issue organized  within the framework of the 5th national festival of Ait  Wraine.

 Giving some strong testimonies about the “ atrocious conditions of his detention for 26 years at Tindouf camps in Algeria” he called  human rights organizations to  spare no effort to free the sequestered and to lift the siege which is imposed upon them by the Polisario in Algeria.

 As to Mr  Othmani’s wife she gave a testimony about the sufferings she had to put up with during her husband’s detention .

 The national festival of Beni Warraine took place recently at Ain  Fendel,, and organized by the  association of  “ Aghremen nait warayne” for culture and development with the partnership of  the royal institute for the Amazigh culture, and with the support of the regional counsel of the region of Taza /al hoceima/taounate and other partners ,  the theme of this festival  was “ the language and culture : levers for the success of the substantial regionalization”
