Major Event

A group of 12 Sahrawis, including 4 women and 5 children, fled the notorious camps of Tindouf (south-western Algeria) to join their homeland, Morocco.

On this occasion, the members of this group expressed their satisfaction to join their families in Morocco, highlighting the inhumane and appalling conditions prevailing in the Tindouf camps.

They also said that the Algeria-backed Polisario's leaders are perpetrating human rights abuses against the camps' inhabitants on a daily basis.

The returnees called on their brothers in the camps to join their families in Morocco's southern provinces and enjoy quietness and prosperity in their homeland.

With the return of this group, the member of Sahrawis who joined Morocco since March rose to 308, including 54 women and 33 children.
