Since last March, some 430 Sahraouis joined the Kingdom after escaping the torture inflicted in the polisario-run camps, where the population held against their will are denied basic living conditions.

    The members of the group told the press that their return mirrors the discontent of the population held against their will in the camps with the polisario administration and its mentor Algeria, saying that these two parties are trying to maintain the status quo of the conflict at the expense of the suffering of the families in the camps.
